To finish our Winter topic, the children took part in the ice egg experiment. They passed round the ice egg, using words to describe it, and were also able to talk about why the egg was melting so quickly! We did some experiments on it. We added food colouring to see what would happen, along with salt. The children were able to hear the crackling of the egg when salt was poured on. We've left it out to see what will happen when we come back to school on Monday!
