Primary 1 made a wonderful discovery during outdoor play this week! While taking out the wooden construction blocks, the children found a nest of baby birds tucked safely inside the blocks. For weeks, they had been spotting a little bird nearby and had even named it “Oreo.” To their delight, they realised that Oreo was in fact a mummy bird, carefully watching over and feeding her chicks right inside their play area. It was a lovely real-life learning moment, sparking curiosity, excitement and lots of discussion about nature and caring for living things.
