As part of our winter topic, the children have been very busy making bird feeders for the birds. We talked about the ingredients we use - lard, oats and seeds and mixed them together. The children then used toilet roll holders and put the bird feed in. We went down to forest school and hung them up on the trees for the birds to eat.
