The children had great fun carving a pumpkin in class. They were able to scoop out the seeds and talk about what was inside it. Mrs McGuigan carved two triangle eyes, a nose and a smile on the pumpkin.
Matthew very kindly tidied up the big planter outside and the children went out and planted the pumpkin seeds. We'll hopefully have our own pumpkins next year!
