📌Flu can be serious and the best way to stay protected is to get the vaccine
📌Children in P1 to Year 12 will be offered the flu vaccine free in school.
📌All pre-school children aged two years and over will be offered the free vaccine in their GP surgery.
* School nurse will administer the vaccine here on Thursday 27th November.
Most children receive the vaccine via a quick and painless nasal spray - just two seconds to provide them with the maximum protection against flu this winter.

📌Take common sense steps to reduce the spread of flu and other similar illnesses by exercising good respiratory and hand hygiene and staying away from others if you have symptoms.
📌Self-care is often the best choice to treat minor illnesses. Pharmacists are qualified to give advice about different health matters, including minor illnesses, so consider speaking to a pharmacist before going to your GP.
Wash your hands - Encourage children and staff to wash their hands regularly throughout the day – before eating or drinking and after using the toilet, after coughing or sneezing, or coming in from outside.
Catch it. Bin it. Kill it - Encourage children to cover their nose and mouth with a tissue when sneezing and coughing, then bin the tissue.
