Christmas Message

21st Dec 2022

As we break up for the Christmas holidays I'd just like to express the gratitude of everyone here at Glendermott for your support during the first term.

For the first time in a few years we were able to fully celebrate Christmas. Our children from Nursery to Primary 4 put on beautiful Christmas performances that we were able to invite families back into school to witness. Our Key Stage 2 children put on a lovely Carol Service and the school choir and traditional group were able to demonstrate their kindness and compassion by performing for the residents of Ardlough Care home.  The school council donated a cheque for £350 to Children in Crossfire showing the kindness of spirit that exists here in Glendermott.

Many thanks to the Friends of Glendermott who raised just over £2000 with their Christmas Draw, thank you to all who supported the draw and congratulations to all the winners.

With Christmas dinner, jumper day, performances and our Christmas door competition there has been a lovely festive atmosphere here in Glendermott. We are very grateful to the pupils and staff for this.

We'll see everyone back on the 5th January!

On behalf of the staff here at Glendermott I'd like to wish you all a happy, holy and peaceful Christmas.

God bless,

Mr Duddy
