This term we have been learning about measuring ml and litres using measuring cylinders.
We have carried out experiments to help us learn the following:
- Recognise the capacity of different items in ml’s
- Ability to sort items into order from smallest to largest capacity.
- Record measurements in ml
- Problem solving
- Discuss and show how many different ways we can fill a bucket.
- Finding fractions of litre
- Using language such as ml, half litre/quarter litre, 1/10 of a litre.
