Home Learning 15.1.21

14th Jan 2021

It's hard to believe that we're sharing pictures of the children working from home again. I'd like to say a big thank you to the teaching staff and classroom assistants who worked so hard to prepare the home learning activities.

I'd ask that you keep an eye on Seesaw for Nursery to P5 and Teams just so you can get an idea of the work that your children are expected to complete.  Primary 6 and 7 children should be independently interacting with their teacher and I'd ask that parents check in with teachers on Seesaw at least once per week.

Please don't feel that you have to replicate the school environment at home, the activities are designed that the children can complete independently. You might find that some days you get more completed than others, that's fine we just ask that the children do their best.

Due to the numbers of key worker children requiring supervision we do need some teachers to be onsite during the week, on these days the response to online queries may be a bit slower, we ask for patience and the teacher will get back to you.

Big News in Primary 4 and Primary 6 as Ella Dalton and Patrick O'Kane became our latest Word Millionaires.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, take care and keep safe!
