Hi Everyone,
Christmas has officially arrived in Nursery and Santa's Workshop is in full swing. The boys and girls have adapted to the role of Santa's Little Helpers very well. We have worked hard on our social skills meeting and greeting our customers. We have also been improving our early mathematical skills when wrapping presents, gauging how much wrapping paper we need for each present and using our scissor skills to cut the paper to size. We used bottle tops as a method of paying and the children had to look, recognise and touch count out the correct amount of 'money'. They also worked on their pattern skills by using two coloured Christmas stencils!
Outside, the boys and girls used their own initiative to create their own Christmas trees.
